Our second newsletter brings good news, not about the weather which continues to be bad, but about the progress being made with the POLTIMORE IN BLOOM project.
Following our initial preparation works last month, a lot has been happening behind the scenes.
This has included.
- Securing generous funding (details will follow in due course)
- Finalized planting designs for each area
- Placing of the main plant order
The plants are anticipated for delivery during week commencing the 27th March for planting from the 1st April.
This will mean a busy couple of weeks ahead as we will need to prepare the planting beds.
Dates for the diary
Saturday 25th March @ 10am
Village Hall – digging works , please bring a fork & spade if you have one
Saturday 1st April @ 9.30am
Village Hall – Planting . Several tasks will be required to include moving plants, setting out , planting and general tidying up.
Please do advise by return of email if and when you can participate as it helps greatly planning the works on the day.
