For the first time in 50 years a group of Poltimore villagers rang the bells of our small but special Church St Mary’s. A huge thanks to a group of local bell ringers who helped make this possible whilst giving a very informative introduction to Church bell ringing. We will be meeting again over the next couple of months to learn more and assess the viability of a full time Poltimore Bell ringing group. If you are interested, come along, dates will be confirmed in due course. This is a perfect example of how being involved with Britain in Bloom has strengthened our community in more ways than just through gardening.
