2024 Location - Poltimore bowls (Broadclyst end)
The bowls are historic 17th granite gate piers positioned at the Broadclyst road junction.
We have created complimentary planting and wildlife habitats on the adjacent grass verge.
This year we will
• Increase native planting at the rear of the bowls.
• Plant the front and sides with a mix of seasonal bedding and perennials.
• Plant bulbs on the surrounding verge.
• Continue to establish a wildflower strip next to the native planting.
• Monitor the benefits to wildlife.
